Welcome

I present this site for mostly selfish reasons.  That is, I don't believe that I will stay on a DBT track without something keeping me there.   However, at this point, I cannot afford DBT group and individual therapy and I can't go to group without individual.  So, I have been inpatient/daytreatment DBT for four months and hope with the guidance of Linehan's manual will be able to continue my DBT work alone.  
 
Through this web site, I will post my weekly diary cards.  As well as an assessment of each skill level.  I hope that my diary card will change daily and that something will be added to the skill level site weekly.
 
 
I have also provided some links for some helpful DBT and Borderline sites.  I am also recommending some books that I have used and I have found helpful.
 
I also will post weekly movie reviews just for the fun of it.
 
 
I hope that my site will demonstrate at least how one person uses DBT and will encourage others to use this innovative program.
 
I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU!!!!!   IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY USING DBT AND WOULD LIKE YOUR THOUGHTS ON CERTAIN SKILLS POSTED OR WOULD LIKE A DIARY CARD POSTED, PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO I CAN ADD IT TO MY SITE

I AM NOT A THERAPIST.  THE BEST WAY TO LEARN DBT IS THROUGH A QUALIFIED DBT THERAPIST.  THIS SITE, AND ALL OF ITS CONTENTS ARE NOT A  SUBSTITUTE FOR REAL THERAPY.   I PRESENT THIS SITE IN A HOPE THAT WE, AS PEERS, CAN HELP AND SUPPORT EACH OTHER.   HOWEVER, IF YOU HAVE BPD YOU MUST  SEEK OUT A QUALIFIED MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL.
